Identity Trial - Sartorius

I have a whole backstory figured out for this guy and I'd really like to illustrate it in a whole comic, but that's going to take awhile... in the meantime I thought I'd knock out some scenes from it for an identity trial so I can start registering stuff, and so that whenever James starts weapon training I'll have Sartorius ready also. Then they can spar together!

Part 1 - New Beginnings: Sartorius spent his early life as a street rat under the watchful but indifferent eye of a guild of brigands and thieves. He took it in stride at first, knowing nothing else... but a brutal gang war would later show him the horrible cost of a criminal life, and he fled to find his destiny elsewhere.

Part 2 - The Big Journey: Later adopted by a weaponsmith, Sartorius developed an affinity for the sword... but it was when he traveled to the human world that he discovered his element. The diamond, starting from a humble beginning and forged through catastrophe into a thing singular beauty, was more than a simple shiny stone. In the human world it was also a tool, with uses ranging from delicate engravings to moving mountains (or in this case boring through them).

Part 3 - Home at Last: Returning home, Sartorius described his exploits to Fabian, as well as what he learned about how diamond was manufactured in the human world. He also brought him a cordless rotary tool with a diamond tip.

These things will all be elaborated on further at a later time!
