Do Not Want... by Ascynd Do Not Want... by Ascynd
Right now Aleph is thinking, evoloons EAT these? It looks more like it would be the other way around! He had no idea they grew so big! Aleph is starting to really dislike surprises.

(His metal plating is in mid-manifestation, it appears as a defensive mechanism.)

Poor guy, I keep wanting to draw him so I make him the victim of these events when he would probably rather be left alone. :B Don't worry though, I'm sure these two will eventually bond over a mutual love of food (and probably spawn more than a few arguments too).

Turkeysaurus coloration inspired by peacock pheasants. Here's a super simplified version of his color scheme in case anyone might want to draw him but not all the crazy effects:

Not many like the turkeysaurus. It's OK since it was almost a joke! :XD:

Turkeys are scary creatures. When loose, they follow you everywhere in pack, gobbling, and they stares at you (probably in hope of food). When you are a kid, with like 20 of those HUGE birds following you everywhere, it is scary annoying! Hahaha!

I think they follow you because they recognize you as a predator and want to keep you in sight, because the predator you don't see is the one that gets you. If a predator isn't intimidated and charges them, they can fly surprisingly fast and escape!

(if you're talking about domestic ones though, it's almost definitely that they're hoping you'll feed them though!)

We have wild turkeys here, when I was over at my sister's house one day we had one come smashing through her living room bay window and terrify the kids. He was wandering around the room stunned, so I went to grab a heavy blanket (to catch and haul him outside), but by the time I got back he had recovered, dashed back out the window and taken off like a shot and he was gone. Surprising that he wasn't badly injured! The kids were still frightened but we reminded them that he was more afraid of us than we were of them because we eat those... they're not nearly so intimidating on a platter surrounded by carrots and potatoes. XD

I still like to tell them that having turkey for thanksgiving or christmas dinner is kinda like eating a dinosaur, and now that they've seen one up close and personal they agree!

I'm glad the Turkeysaurus is a true companion though, I like 'em! And besides almost all the companions have a little joke element to them!

Yeah, domestic ones! At the farm! :XD: But the rooster was a lot more agressive than them! :giggle:

Ah heh, I've seen the wild ones gather up in a line and advance too, but they stay much farther away. And yeah I could believe it, roosters are heckin' aggressive and determined, haha...

Thanks! I love my dorky cyber loon, one of these days I should draw his fully cybernetic form (I'll have to figure out how I want to deal with the plates on his face first). In my head it's pretty cool and intimidating. As for the turkeysaurus, a bird your size could certainly be dangerous I would think! But if any of my 'loons could handle one it'd be Aleph (And Akuma, but holy heck a turkeysaurus the size of Akuma really would be Turkzilla! She'd probably also eat it. XD).
